Built around the idea of “Clothing Your Hard Working Community,” this campaign set out to celebrate the people who roll up their sleeves, get stuck in, and keep industries moving every day.
About the project
Totally Workwear came to us with a simple ask: make a commercial that puts the people in the uniforms first. Not polished actors pretending to work. Real people. Real industries. The kind of workers who get stuck in every day and take pride in doing the job properly.
Built around the line “Clothing Your Hard Working Community,” the campaign focused on the character behind the work rather than the workwear itself. We wanted the film to feel grounded and cinematic without losing the grit and honesty of the environments it was filmed in.
The production was shot across four locations, including an active building site, and sunrise setups that meant early call times, cold mornings with an incredible talented crews. We cast real tradies throughout the campaign, partly for safety around tools and machinery, but mostly because people who work in these environments every day carry themselves differently. You can feel it on screen.
Good work starts below the surface. This campaign was about finding the people behind it.
By highlighted the people behind the uniforms rather than treating the workwear itself as the hero, the final campaign delivered a more human and emotionally resonant brand presence across television and digital platforms. The result was a suite of adaptable campaign assets designed to reinforce Totally Workwear’s connection to the everyday workers and industries at the heart of its community.
