CSIRO Health
Most of our health happens invisibly.
For CSIRO, the challenge was finding a way to visualise the future of precision health and the growing role the microbiome plays in our overall wellbeing. Turning complex science into something people could connect with emotionally, not just intellectually.
About the project
Created for CSIRO, this animated film explored the future of precision health through a particle-based motion design system developed alongside lead motion designer Steven Bunyan.
As Lead Creative and Director, Adam helped shape a visual language where millions of moving particles formed objects, environments and transitions, reflecting the idea that our health is built from countless connected signals working together over time.
The production involved extensive R&D and experimentation to refine the final look and feel. Sometimes the best creative work comes from having the space to keep digging until it feels right.
The final film transformed a complex scientific topic into something cinematic, accessible and visually engaging.
By leaning into abstract animation rather than traditional medical visuals, the project helped CSIRO communicate cutting-edge research through curiosity, movement and atmosphere instead of information overload.
