Yamaha – Make Moments
Most people know Yamaha for fast motorbikes. This campaign was about reminding people they’ve been powering creativity for generations too.
From first piano lessons to late-night songwriting sessions and packed-out stages, Make Moments focused on the small, personal moments that sit behind every musician’s journey. The quiet practice, the experimentation, the obsession, the joy of finally getting it right.
Because good music is built one moment at a time.
About the project
Created for Yamaha Music, the campaign set out to reposition Yamaha’s music division as a brand connected to creativity at every level from beginners picking up their first instrument to professionals performing on stage.
As Lead Creative and Director, Adam developed an approach built around photography rather than traditional large-scale production, allowing the campaign to stretch further across film, digital and out-of-home while staying grounded in real moments and performances.
The visual style combined still photography, rapid photo bursts and scrapbook-inspired transitions to create movement and energy from captured moments rather than heavily staged scenes. A toddler discovering rhythm. A teenager learning saxophone. A songwriter alone in their room. Different stages of the same creative journey.
Sometimes the strongest stories aren’t the loudest ones. They’re the moments people keep coming back to.
The final campaign delivered a more human and emotionally driven portrait of Yamaha Music, focusing less on products and more on the role music plays in people’s lives.
By building the creative around still imagery and authentic performances, the project created a flexible campaign system that worked naturally across BVOD, digital and out-of-home without losing its intimacy or energy.
Built simply. Felt honestly.
